About Me
My name is Żaklina Małolepsza. I specialise in face painting, body painting, artistic makeup and character makeup.
My professional journey in makeup began in 2007, when I graduated from the School of Makeup and Beauty Care in Legnica as a makeup artist and stylist. Drawing and painting had been part of my life long before that. Makeup allowed me to transfer those interests from paper and canvas to the face and body.
I gained experience during studio and outdoor photo shoots, on film sets, in theatre makeup rooms and wardrobes, and while working on performances and shows. My collaborators have included the Helena Modrzejewska Theatre in Legnica, Art Color Ballet, Avatar Theatre, Teatr Jednej Miny and Świetliki Atrakcje Cyrkowe.
I have worked on projects with photographers, dancers, fashion designers and event and trade-fair organisers. I have created makeup, character looks and body-painting designs, as well as teaching artistic makeup.
My stage experience as an actress and dancer, which began in 2005, helps me approach every look as a complete visual concept – from the initial idea and colour palette to its relationship with costume, lighting, movement and the character of the event.
Every project is prepared individually. It may be a quick design for a children’s party, detailed character makeup for a photo shoot or performance, body painting for an event, or a practical face-painting course.
